Kona School’s next innovative approach to education involves training students about the relationship between academic ability and physical health. Studies show a strong correlation between a student’s well being and their capacity for learning. A student that is receiving nutritious meals learns better, scores higher on achievement tests, has improved concentration, and has more energy.
Healthy Foods for Healthy Minds
With this in mind, Kona School plans to incorporate a program that provides healthy foods and beverages throughout the day. Students will be led in the discovery of how a nutritious diet can improve academic and physical performance.
